The next global wave of manufacturing

It is widely known that more and more of the worldwide manufacturing has moved to emerging countries in the past decades. Because of this move the traditional industrial economies lost a significant part of their manufacturing value added. It probably is in a response to this that initiatives to boost the manufacturing sector seem to appear almost everywhere.
