Training Technology Transfer for Moldova

From February 2014 to February 2015 a Technology Transfer training was given for participants from Moldova. The training was done within the scope of the BITTEM (Bilateral Technology Transfer Excellence for Moldova) project for bilateral cooperation between Estonia and Moldova.
The BITTEM project is a “good governance” project aiming at improving the coordination, information flow, transparency, and accountability of the technology transfer process through quality assurance and standardization. Involved are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI RM), the Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer of the Republic of Moldova (AITT) and the Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM) as well as private enterprises (aiming at Public Private Partnerships), represented by the Moldova Technology Transfer Network.
Dr. Aart-Jan Hoeven of TechToBizz gave trainings on the subjects Protection of Intellectual Property, International Matchmaking, Finding Investors and the Assessment of Technology and Clusters. TechToBizz was involved in this project in a cooperation with business partner BreakingResearch.
In the February 2014 session a group of 150 employees of the aforementioned agencies and all 17 Moldovan universities was trained in the fields of Protection of Intellectual Property, Commercialization of Intellectual Property Rights, Technology Auditing, Access to Finance for innovative projects, Project Management, Project Monitoring, Marketing of Innovation, Clustering and Matchmaking between universities, SMEs and public bodies.
In August 2014 a Summer School on Technology Transfer was held at the Mektory Innovation and Business Center of the Tallinn University of Technology.
In February 2015 a Train the Trainer workshop took place. The BITTEM project was concluded with a Final Conference on 27 February 2015.
